We believe that our most dedicated and talented youth workers in Wales deserve to be rewarded for their achievements.
After all, there are thousands of unsung heroes – our very own Sams – working diligently around Wales in order to support and help young people. There are countless examples of how young people’s lives have changed forever thanks to the influence and guidance of their youth worker.
The Youth Work Wales Excellence Awards 2012, in conjunction with the local authority and voluntary Youth Service and the Welsh Government, are a chance for youth workers, youth projects and young people involved in youth work to be recognised by the communities they serve.
So it’s time to say thank you. It’s time to show our appreciation. It’s time to recognise the fantastic work of colleagues in the sector.
